My gift is my song – and this one’s for you
For years I battled with, and misunderstood feelings of fear, anxiety, insecurity, depression or feeling in “survival” mode with running low on energy as a consequence.
Depending on the situation you are in, who you are with, the phasing in life and how you feel, you subconsciously radiate a certain appearance accordingly. As if you “sing a slightly or completely different song”.
Behavior is based on emotions and being unbalanced can make you feel out of tune. “c’est le ton qui fait la musique”.
But what is MY tune then? Does everyone have a certain tune? What are the keys, what are the chords of that tune?
Some of you may have seen that clip where Ed Sheeran demonstrated how many songs can be played through “only” four chords. It reminded me of the four layers I defined after studying and testing multiple personality models as MBTI, DISC, 16personalities, CVI, Enneagram and many others.
I noticed there were “keys” in them to mentally better understand myself and the people around me. It provided me with a guide to my mental wiring and helped me become intelligently aware of how I behave in certain situations and why.
So I worked out that there are 8.503.056 behavioral styles from a personality test point of view. With 9 types over 4 layers with 6 variant compositions per type where each style has its own unique appearance, or melody if you will.
I started testing if it were possible to work out which exact keys and in which order make up for “my song”. The melody where I feel aware, connected to my heart and connected to consciousness or intelligence.
When I worked out, felt and experienced my specific type of melody it was emotional. Like a forgotten feeling and a gateway to happiness or destiny. A meeting with Self that was ignored and told off.
🎵 “My gift is my song – and this one’s for you – and you can tell everybody this is your song – how wonderful life is while you’re in the world” by Sir Elton John.
Through practice I was able to get back to this sensation of harmony more consciously and more often. I learned how it gave me access to my desires, talent, purpose, intuition and what it is that I am here to bring and to experience.
After I retired from my existing professional corporate routine I started to live my tune. I also wanted to find out and pinpoint the specific tune of others. Now being able to do this from the heart and help work out someone’s tune is a fulfilling part of my new career.
”To love someone is to learn the song in their heart and sing it to them when they have forgotten it” – by Arne Evenson Garborg.
